G4S scintillation detector

G4S scintillation detector
SMALL, COMPACT AND MODERN ALTERNATIVE TO 1” NaI:Tl SCINTILLATION DETECTORS FOR EFFICIENT GAMMA DETECTION

G4S scintillation detector

The family of modern G4S scintillation detectors based on GAGG+ scintillators and SiPM photomultipliers provides a modern alternative to commonly used 1” NaI:Tl-based detectors.

COMPARISON TO NaI:Tl SCINTILLATION DETECTORS

With only 26x26x120 mm (1x1x4.7 inches),
the G4S detector provides a convenient alternative
to NaI:Tl based detectors with no need for
additional equipment

SMALLER AND COMPACT SOLUTION

Unlike NaI:Tl based detectors, the G4S detector does
not require a HV supply to operate. Preamplifier is
optional and not required for data acquisition

COMPARABLE DETECTION EFFICIENCY TO 1" NaI:Tl

In comparison to 1” NaI:Tl detectors, the G4S detector shows comparable or better signal and the Compton scattering continuum is lower.
