Yb:CALGO
Yb:CaGdAlO4 (Yb:CALGO) widens the family of ytterbium doped laser materials grown in Crytur. Itis a broadband gain material for ultrafast solid-state lasers , combining broad emission bandwidth, favorable thermo-optical properties, and long fluorescence lifetime.
Technical parameters
The broad gain spectrum of Yb:CALGO makes it particularly attractive for sub-picosecond and femtosecond laser systems.
Yb:CALGO preserves broadband gain at low temperature, making it highly suitable for cryogenically cooled ultrafast femtosecond laser amplifiers.
