APPLICATIONS

  • field gamma spectroscopy operations
  • aerial radiation monitoring including drones
  • geology – natural radioisotopes in rock formations
  • exhaust monitoring in nuclear power plants, e.g. sorbents with 131I
  • waste monitoring of radioactive contamination (e.g. 60Co in iron)
  • nuclear medicine
  • personal dosimetry devices

Technical parameters

Detection efficiency

Detection efficiency of N24A SiPM 2“x2“ NaI:Tl unit evaluated for point-like radioactive source placed 60 mm from its face. Efficiency is evaluated as count-rate in the spectral peak of specified energy (continuum of Compton scattering is not included).
